HOLSWORTHY Police report that there were 19 recorded crimes in the town in July. The Town Council were told that one private dwelling was burgled and there were two thefts, one a case of shoplifting, the other not specified.

There were three incidents of criminal damage to a dwelling or property, four incidents of drunk and disorderly behaviour and one of possession of Class B cannabis.

Two incidents involved vehicles: one of driving while disqualified, the other of taking a vehicle leading to damage. There were two cases of assault causing ABH and another of common assault and battery. Finally there were three non crime domestic incidents.
