OVER the last two years Holsworthy students have been provided with numerous opportunities to work on international projects in a wide variety of subjects including music, geography, English and MFL (Modern Foreign Languages). This has involved forming partnerships with schools around the world from Sri Lanka to Japan and Kenya. Students have even met people from across the globe including Massai Warriors. Students learnt about different cultures through studying aspects of every day life in projects such as an international cookbook, produced in-conjunction with ten foreign schools. Some students even wrote articles for a booklet presented to world leaders including President Obama. The students' hard work has been recognised by the British Council who has granted the college a top International Schools Award. This award which runs for three years reflects the high standards achieved by the students and is an important aspect in raising the aspirations of pupils.
