Cadets from the Holsworthy detachment of the Devon Army Cadet Force recently funded a weekend activity break for a disabled young person from North Devon and his family.
The money was raised by an event called 'I'm a cadet....get me out of here' which was held two years ago during the detachment's annual charity challenge. Based on the famous bush tucker trials seen on TV's 'I'm a Celebrity.' cadets were challenged to eat an array of unusual food sources including live worms, stinging nettles and squirrel.
