HOLSWORTHY Amateur Theatrical Society has received a donation from a popular local pub.

The Kings Arms in Holsworthy have a weekly ‘bonus ball’ draw, and £9 is put into the charity pot each time. The winner of the last bonus ball in December picks the charity to received the annual amount collected.

This year’s winner was Gordon Bate, and he picked HATS as the organisation to be supported, and a cheque for £420 was recently presented to representatives, Annette Dennis and Peter Whitehead.
