YOU'LL get a warm and friendly welcome when you visit shops in Holsworthy town centre. That's the message from the majority of traders in the town.

Mayor of Holsworthy, Cllr Richard Brown said: "You will still get a surprising variety of shops in the town, many providing excellent bargains and a personal and courteous service.

"It remains an old market town with plenty of atmosphere which makes it a pleasant experience and where else can you find central and free parking? The town has all service points; banks; solicitors; accountants; cafes; pubs; numerous hairdressers and take away food shops."
