The ladies of Launceston Golf Club raised more than £1,500 at their recent coffee morning.

On behalf of the club, Beth Ratcliffe said: "Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and the community the ladies of Launceston Golf Club raised an outstanding £1,600.

"Our thanks go to local companies Charlie Bears, Jo Downs Glass and Harrison Fork trucks for their sponsorship, which went a long way to the success of the event."
