Ann Harris, Payroll Manager at Hodgsons Chartered Accountants will be retiring this week after 21 years of working at the company's Launceston office. Ann started at Hodgsons in 1988 as a computer operator and from there developed her current role which she has been in for the past 10 years. Peter Hodgson, senior partner at Hodgsons said: "Ann is a highly valued member of the team here and will be greatly missed by all of us and our clients. She has developed valuable new areas of work for us and made that vital first point of contact with clients, in reception, everything it should be for a successful company." This was confirmed by Rex Ward, vice chairman of Milk Link, who said: "One of the most reassuring things about working with Hodgsons has been being able to pick up the phone and find Ann, who knows who we are and who we'll need to speak to straight away." Peter continued: "Ann has been a great example to others and it is a source of considerable pride that she has wanted to work happily with us for so long." Ann said: "There have been some memorable times over the past 21 years here and I have seen huge changes. I will miss my colleagues and friends, who all work extremely hard but will always find time for the human touches and lighter moments."
