AN exhibition celebrating Bude Canal is being held at the Castle Heritage Centre.
The joint exhibition between the Bude Canal and Harbour Society and Old Cornwall Society continues until March 10 and is open from 10am to 4pm daily.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to find out about the history of the unique canal, with its sea lock and inclined planes.
Displays show recently discovered information on water mills near the canal and the canal engineer, George Casebourne.
The Bude Canal and Harbour Society was formed in 2001. The society is a registered charity with the aims of preserving, conserving and encouraging restoration of Bude Canal where possible, and advancing public education in the history and former use of the canal.
