FIFTEEN members of a team from Crusade, the medieval re-enactment society, found themselves without shelter after disastrous weather overnight on Thursday, June 7.
The group was in the area to perform re-enactments at Tintagel Castle to illustrate the activities of the 12th century garrison working with English Heritage. Camped overnight at a local campsite the team found themselves in difficulties when the furious gale force weather ripped their tents and flooded and flattened them. Camelot Castle was able to come to their aid.
