A MORWENSTOW man has become one of the first in the UK to be made a parish freeman after 40 years of work in the village. John Davey, now 88-years-old, was made a Freeman of the Parish of Morwenstow at a special presentation ceremony. He gained the honour for his efforts in the village after moving there in 1961.
For more on his accomplishment, see this week's edition of the 'Post'.
