HUNDREDS of visitors flocked to the eighth annual War Machines Weekend at the Davidstow Airfield and Cornwall at War Museum on the weekend of July 27 and 28.

In addition to the many military vehicles and other military displays, Brin the dog travelled down from Sussex with his carer Sally.

Brin was found as a stray in Helmand, Afghanistan in 2010 by the Coldstream Guards. He was then handed over the to Gurkha Rifles.

Miraculously, he saved lives by finding hidden bomb devices, despite never being trained. Unfortunately, due to his talent, Brin was captured by the Taliban, but following an appeal to get him home, Brin flew to the UK, where he now lives in Sussex.
