BUDE got off to the perfect start in this evening local derby going one up inside the first two minutes, a Herbie Goodgroves cross from the right picked out Jason Ferrett who scored from close range.

Bude were two up after 10 minutes, Goodgroves was provider again with his corner picking out the run and head of Dan Balsdon to the near post. Bude were cruising when they made it 3-0 on the half hour, good work from Billy Hopcroft down the left cut it back for Ferrett who buried it for his second of the match.

Holsworthy showed resistance in the second half but on the hour fell further behind, Goodgroves once again found striker Tommy Statton who headed in from six yards

Holsworthy pulled one back in the 85th minute when Bude failed to clear a ball inside the box, Ricky Cobbledick reacted to pick up the loose ball and an early shot beat 'keeper Gary Dinshaw low to his right.

There was still time for a further Bude goal and the goal of the game when James Giordani picked the ball up just inside the Holsworthy half, the midfielder ran with the ball and from just outside the box unleashed a superb low strike which went in off the left hand post to top off a great night for Bude.
