LEADERS from St Breward are to join 40,000 other scouts and guides for the 23rd World Scout Jamboree. St Breward Guide Young Leader, Bobbie Dangar, 15, was chosen from hundreds of guides across the South West to attend the world scout jamboree, which takes place every four years. Each person only has one opportunity to attend. She is one of 3,500 scouts from the UK and needs to raise £3,000 to fund the trip, which takes place from July to August next year. St Breward Guides unit leader Kasey Metters from Camelford said: "It's a once in a lifetime opportunity." For the full report, and a round up of the area news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.
