CALLING all BRAG-sters — urgent assistance needed on Saturday (February 16) to clear flytipped furniture in the woods at the side of Bude Rugby Club.

Bude Rubbish Action Group (BRAG) is appealing for volunteers to help with their big clean up this Saturday.

Paul Crum, founder of BRAG, previously spoke to Cornwall Councillor for Bude, Peter La Broy (Lib Dem), and Biffa is to take the rubbish away from the site. However, volunteers are needed to load it onto the lorry, which will only be able to travel as far as the car park, so volunteers will need to ‘manhandle’ the rubbish there.

Paul said: “Let’s make this a BRAG effort and also a community effort. It would be great to see the area how it’s supposed to be, not a tip.”

BRAG will be meeting at 9am at the rugby club on Saturday morning.
