A SECOND public meeting to discuss the future of Boscastle's Minster Church was held last week.

Minster is a Grade 1 Listed building and the mother church in Boscastle, but due to a decline in congregation numbers, it has recently become a struggle to manage and maintain for a limited few.

Since the first meeting, enough people have come forward in order to collate a cleaning rota for 2014. The 'Minster Muckers' — a group of volunteers who work on the graveyard and building — have offered to maintain the graveyard, which is also a site of special scientific interest. Just to keep Minster open the basic running costs of £2,210 — insurance and electric — must be met.
