THE family of a Ross dad who is battling colon cancer are fundraising for him to tick off things on his 'bucket list'.

Dean Foxwell was diagnosed with the illness, which spread to his liver in November 2013, just after his 40th birthday. He was given three months to a year to live. He surpassed expectations but now has new lesions starting to grow on his liver.

His wife, Lynette said: "We have four children ranging in age from 13 to 24. We also have a 10-month-old granddaughter. Dean wants to take his two youngest children to a Chelsea home game, which will kill him as we are both avid Everton supporters, but he has always promised them. He also wants to take Zac, our youngest, to a Real Madrid home game as well as go on a canal boat holiday with the children, do a parachute jump and just do as much as he can with us all before he is too ill to do so.

"I would like to ask people to please help make his dreams come true and make some wonderful memories for his children by donating to his bucket list. I would be so grateful to everyone if they could help with this, as anything they could spare would help a great deal.

"I would also like to thank everyone who has already donated."
