A HOLSWORTHY lady is to tackle the London Marathon and is hoping to beat last year's time.

Helen Heard of Vaglefield Farm, is to run the London Marathon for the second time in a row. She ran it in aid of North Devon Hospice and Cancer Research last year and this time will be running in aid of Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF).

She said: "I am running in aid of ELF because my dear mum was diagnosed with Leukaemia back in the middle of February."

Helen has been training hard since the beginning of the winter.
