A?COFFEE morning was held at Tregadillett Community Hall on Saturday, June 17, to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The event was organised by Heather Hutchings, and was well supported, raising a total of £310.

Heather and her husband Barry took part in a 40-mile walk from St Breward along the Camel Trail to Padstow, then across to Rock before returning to St Breward. This event raised around £500 for Macmillan and Cancer Research.

Heather’s mum passed away last year and she wanted to organise some events to raise some money for the charity, which is close to the family’s heart.

Heather extended thanks to everyone who supported the coffee morning, adding: “It was a really hot day, but there was a nice amount of people there. It was a good morning.”
