A PUBLIC consultation was held at Camelford Hall on Wednesday, January 23 for a 77 metre wind turbine proposed on land at Bodulgate Farm, Delabole.
There were residents both for and against the development, as well as farm owner, Andrew Kempthorne and the development surveyor, Mark Dyson.
Cornwall Council received the application on January 3. A "strong list of objections" has been submitted to Cornwall Council, many from residents concerned about the area of outstanding beauty being jeopardised. However, there are also supportive comments.
"It's been a long six month process, it isn't something we have just thought of," said Mr Dyson.
"I have been working with farmers who have wanted to put wind turbines on their land, they are better than the big energy companies that take the money away from Cornwall."
