WORK has begun to install the new X-ray department at Launceston Community Hospital.

Christine Rowe was senior radiographer for Launceston Hospital for 33 years and she popped in ahead of the installation to share her fond memories of working at the hospital before retiring in 2006.

The work began on Friday and is expected to be completed in February 2022.
