THE Holsworthy & District Community Forum has just launched a survey, aimed at finding out how the Forum can best help its community to make Holsworthy and its surroundings an even better place to live and work.

Forum chairman Geoff Cusick told the Post: “The Forum’s purpose is to improve the wellbeing of residents, by bringing together a partnership of residents, volunteers and service providers. The first step in that is to find out what the priorities of the community are.

“We do have a start, in the recommendations made by the Holsworthy Community Involvement Group. But since those recommendations were published, we have been through a tough couple of years. So we need to check that the recommendations are still valid, and find out what people need and want today. Hence this survey.”

The online survey can be found at bit.ly/HDCFSurvey, or by scanning the QR code. Paper surveys will be available, at Memorial Hall coffee mornings, in Holsworthy Library and around the town and villages.

The survey will be open until mid-February, and the results made public in March.

The Forum can also be found on Facebook — search for ‘Holsworthy and District Community Forum’.
