THERE is now a total of 11,658 cases of coronavirus in the UK.

Since yesterday, the number of deaths has risen to 578, while 135 patients have recovered from the virus overall.

In Devon, there are 55 confirmed cases. In Cornwall, there are now 43 confirmed cases.

The government asks people to stay at home. People can only leave their homes for food, health reasons or work (but only if this cannot be done from home).

People must stay 2 metres away from others, and should wash their hands regularly.

People can still spread the virus even without any symptoms.
