THE A-level results at Launceston College this year achieved a new all time high.
Average points per student were up to 782 with one quarter of students achieving the top A* to B grades.
High attaining students included Laura Dymond who achieved 1,155 points (three As and one B) and Ed Holmes, Reuben Thomas and Amy Trehane who all achieved 1,140 points.
Other high attaining students included George Rowland who achieved two A* grades, which the government expects only seven per cent of students to achieve in any subject and one A. Sally Curtis who achieved one A* and four As and Hannah Gribble who achieved two As and one B.
