AN appeal is being made for information relating to a dog missing from the Holsworthy area.

Tracey Dempsey has put posters up, handed flyers out, contacted local radio stations, had the North Devon Animal Rescue searching woods and even offers to get a helicopter out, all in an attempt to find her missing dog Bailey.

Tracey said: "On Sunday, January 24, we took our dogs over to Holsworthy Woods. At about 3pm my dog Bailey came back to me and I gave him a treat. He then ran up the path, I heard a gun go off and saw Bailey bolt. I have not seen him since. We have been searching day and night, putting up posters and knocking on doors without any luck. He could be further afield now.

"Sad thing is we live in St-Giles-on-the-Heath and we are new to area and he does not know his way around at all. He looks like a young fit dog with no fat on him but he's actually ten years old and has health problems."

If anyone has any information or has seen Bailey contact Tracey Dempsey on 07791 972394.
