A BERNESE Mountain Dog, Tamarbern Dusky Maiden — aka Layla — from Sutcombe, is hoped to get a hat-trick after winning her class at the last two Crufts competitions.

Her most notable achievements in the last 12 months include being reserve veteran at Top Dog of Devon, the best veteran in show at the Plymouth Canine Society and coming fourth in a working group at North Devon and Okehampton open shows.
