A CONSULTATION was held at the Falcon Hotel, Bude, for the proposal of a Tesco and veteran holiday acc­ommo­dation on the Bin­­hamy Farm development site on Thursday, May 23, writes Natalie Venning.

Around 200 residents and representatives of local businesses attended the event. However, many residents left being more unsure on their opinions than when they arrived; most took an optimistic view even though they had concerns over part of the plans.

It is believed that Tesco is the only supermarket that is interested in the site. Others had been approached but it is reported that they refused.
