THE Port Isaac RNLI harvest festival has had another successful year raising £3,700 thanks to the generosity of those who attended.

Despite storm Brian trying to put a dampener on things, the turnout was strong.

The Rev Elizabeth Wild got proceedings off to a start with the blessing of the lifeboat and her crew.

Fisherman’s Friend Jon Cleave then entertained the crowd with his auctioneering skills. Lots on offer included a return trip for two to London with a guided tour of the Tower Lifeboat Station, a week holiday in Padstow, a spa day at the St Moritz as well as an array of prints, jewellery, meals out, hampers and tasty cakes.

The committee extended its thanks to all who attended to make the evening a ‘great success’.
