THE parents and children of Ashwater Primary School made a fantastic display of produce, which was a lovely backdrop for their harvest celebrations.
The infants performed the story of The Little Red Hen through a chant with actions, and the juniors read their own harvest poems.
The produce was then bagged up and delivered by the children to the elderly residents of Ashwater village.
The school expressed special thanks to Waitrose, Holsworthy, for kindly donating 40 reusable carrier bags.
The school also expressed thanks to Ashwater PTFA for organising a ‘Big Breakfast’ before school to give them plenty of energy for delivering the produce!
