SIXTH Form students at Launceston College achieved excellent results again this year. Principal Jack Jackson said: "We are all delighted at the success that our students have achieved particularly notable is the high proportion of students going to the most academically demanding universities in the country, this of course reflects the hard work that they have put in. It is a pleasure to see, that as a result of their efforts over the last two years, Launceston College Sixth Form students are now able to take the next important steps for their futures." Students from Launceston College have been very successful in their attempts to get into their chosen universities with the vast majority of students achieving their first choice destination and 20% of students have secured places at Russell Group Universities. Notable individual success stories include Luke Shillaber, who achieved three A* grades at A-level in maths, further maths and physics, is going to study engineering at Churchill College, Cambridge, and Ellie Parsons, who achieved an A* in English Literature and two A grades in Spanish and history at A-level, is going to study English language and literature at Oxford University.
