RESIDENTS of Marhamchurch have been working hard to re-establish their village shop, a service that was lost four years ago.
Through campaigning by hard working volunteers, a temporary community shop has been installed in the village hall while fundraising continues to build a permanent outlet in the village, which has already been granted planning permission.
Much support and enthusiasm has been offered towards the cause, with grants and donations from the parish council, Cornwall's Community Chest and the Revel Committee, along with extensive fundraising by volunteers.
