Camelford Town Council ran their annual Camelford in Bloom competition this year and the judges had a hard task to pick winners from all the entries.

Judging took place on August 5 with the following results. In the commercial category the trophy was taken home by Sycamores Campsite at Valley Truckle for the second year running. Owner Alison Sloper tends to her well stocked beds which give a welcome and colourful outlook for those camping here.

The hanging baskets and window box category was won by Martin Houle of Dymond Close, the judges agreeing that his hanging baskets were superb.

Allotment garden trophy goes to Richard and Christine Healy for their impeccable double plot of vegetables and the final category, residential front garden, was awarded to long term Camelford resident Thelma White for her beautiful courtyard garden and overflowing colourful pots.

Camelford Town Council expressed its thanks to all those who entered.
