A LANGORE farmer celebrated his 100th birthday at the village hall on Monday with five generations of family and friends.
Cyril Webber, who still likes to keep active and has a good memory, celebrated the occasion with his two daughters and daughter-in-law, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four-month-old great-great-grandson, all of whom he adores. Grandson Patrick Webber made a speech at the party.
Daughter Phyllis Davey said: "It was a wonderful afternoon, and we all enjoyed it, especially dad as he spoke with people he hadn't seen for years. Dad played table tennis and draughts at the hall when he was 17, and had always worked nearby so we wanted to hold the celebrations there."
