ANYONE attending the annual meeting of Camelford Town Council last week might have thought 'The Whigs' were back in office! Town councillors at the meeting were modelling some funky new hairstyles in support of CLIC Sargent's 'Wig Wednesday'. The town council has been supporting the event and helping to promote it around Camelford — and last week all the members attending the annual meeting sported a new hair-do. Thousands of people across the UK donned their wigs for the day to raise funds for children and young people with cancer, many of whom lose their hair during treatment. For the full report, and a round-up of the area news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.
