YOUNG girls who have lost their hair through treatment will benefit thanks to one Holsworthy woman’s hair cut.

Victoria Harris has donated 16 inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust, which will be used by the charity to create wigs.

Victoria said: “I was thinking of having my hair cut and did not want to let it go to waste so decided to do it for the Little Princess Trust also to raise some money for them so that a child or young person under 23 could have a wig made after losing all their own hair due to cancer. The length of my hair cut off was 16 inches.”

Victoria has been overwhelmed with the support she has received, raising more than £800 for the Little Princess Trust.

She said: “I would like to thank all who donated to this worthy cause the amount at the minute is over £800 and still counting if you would still like donate the just giving page is still up.”

She added: “I would like to thank Alison Marshall of Amberellas hair salon for cutting my hair and restyling it and ‘Holsworthy Mafia’ for filming and promoting it.”
