To celebrate this year being the 100 year Centenary of Girl Guides, 65 Guides, young leaders and Guiders (past and present) from the Camelford district, celebrated in style with a ball, held at The Camelot Castle Hotel in Tintagel recently. Bouquets were given to Deborah Brooks and Peggy Ellison for organising the evening and Ray Jeffs was presented with a thanks badge by Becca Haggart for all he has given to Guiding for the past 25 years.
Celebrating 100 years of Guiding at the ball are: Gemma Hooper, Becca Haggart, Chris Irons, Carol Turner, Nicola Morris, Katherine Short, Rebecca Penwarden, Marilyn Pluess, Vicky Bruce, Beth Garvin, Julie Fairman, Natalie Flower, Peggy Ellison, Jill Jeffs, Deborah Brookes and Sian Harris.
