THE local Growing Schools group held its last garden gathering for this year at Bridge Mill, Bridgerule, on Wednesday, October 3.

Representatives from Holsworthy Primary School, Marhamchurch Primary School, Bude Junior School, Pyworthy Primary School and the home educated children from the Tamar Lake Forest School gathered together with their competition entries for the tallest sunflower, heaviest pumpkin, best scarecrow and best garden diary.
