AN OPEN evening is being held to show the £2-million extension at Stratton Primary School on Thursday, February 13.

The extension, work on which started in Easter 2012, includes four new classes, a staffroom, new hall and a food technology room, as well as other ancillary rooms.

The extension has been built in response to the growing number of students in the Bude-Stratton area, as well as making the school more user-friendly in terms of disabled access. It has been funded by Cornwall Council's capital money for school development.
