CLIC Sargent was thrilled to receive a cheque for £520 from fundraisers in the Bude area.
The cheque was presented by the Brendon Arms Golf Society, who held a golf day in memory of Sadie Monk, from Bude, who passed away in 2015 aged 22 after a battle with cancer.
CLIC Sargent fundraising engagement manager for Cornwall and Devon, Jordan Anderton, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tony and everyone involved in the Brendon Arms Cup for their amazing support. It is extremely kind of the Brendon Arms Golf Society and Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club for continuing this event going in memory of Sadie and for supporting CLIC Sargent.
“The money that they have raised will allow CLIC Sargent to support more children and young people facing cancer.”
