THE ‘Miracle of Mindfulness’ is coming to Bude with the start of a new meditation group focused around the teachings of Thích Nh?t H?nh.
The new group will start in Bude this Friday, February 5.
Sessions will be held weekly on a Friday between 5pm and 7pm at the Yoga Studio on The King’s Hill Industrial Estate.
It will be based on the teachings of Thích Nh?t H?nh and the meditation group will be held in the ‘Plum Village’ tradition.
Zen master Thích Nh?t H?nh is a global spiritual leader, Vietnamese Buddhist monk, scholar, poet, artist, peace activist, environmentalit and prolific author. His teachings and bestselling writings on the art of mindfulness have reached audiences worldwide.
For more than 50 years he has been a pioneer in applying ancient Buddhist wisdom to contemporary issues. The sessions are free to attend but donations are welcome and will go towards covering the cost of the room. Any left over will be donated to either the Plum Village monastery or The European Institute of Applied Buddhist Study.
