THE Launceston Railway Circle held a special celebration carvery dinner on Friday, October 18 at Trethorne Leisure Park, near Launceston, for its 50th anniversary year.
A range of paraphernalia was on display throughout the evening from the members and circle archive, including photos of railway stations and workers, items used on the railways and the original meeting minutes when the club started (the latter provided by Diana Goodman, from the late Lloyd Goodman collection).
