A GREENER Bude was recently invited along to the Atlantic Rise coffee morning, an annual event which in previous years has supported Macmillan and Cornwall Air Ambulance.
This year, the residents wanted to support a local cause, and A Greener Bude were incredibly honoured to be chosen.
During the morning, committee members Zoë Gascoyne and Claire Giner gave a brief talk to the residents and their guests about the work A Greener Bude is undertaking, and offered a few simple ways that everyone can help and be a part of the movement. They then opened up the room to questions and stayed behind to speak to anyone with ideas or questions.
It was an incredibly informative and enjoyable morning, not to mention supremely profitable for the A Greener Bude team, who will put the funds raised towards getting one of their projects off the ground.
In total, £550 was made through a raffle, cake sale and donation. A Greener Bude wishes to thank the Atlantic Rise residents for their support.
