PLANS for a development of 118 homes in Launceston have been given the go-ahead by Cornwall Council.

A previous application by developer Wainhomes for land at Withnoe, Tavistock Road, for 129 homes, had been agreed by Cornwall Council last May, before a redesigned application was submitted for the fewer number of homes towards the end of last year.

The redesigned application, which includes associated parking, roads, infrastructure, drainage, and open space, was approved with conditions by Cornwall Council on March 24.
