MORE than 300 friends and family members lined the shores of Summerleaze Beach and sea pool area for the third Eden Project Big Lunch on Sunday.
The event, organised by Friends of Bude Sea Pool, is part of the Eden Project's Big Lunch campaign, which takes place right across the UK.
There was plenty to see, great music to listen to, from rock and blues band 'High Tide', GMC Choir, and Mark Rosser, and activities to keep the children happy. Water-based activities included demonstrations and 'have a go' from Bude Surf Life Saving Club and Bude Canoe Club.
Fay Hargreaves on behalf of Friends of Bude Sea Pool said: "All performed brilliantly, and everyone went away happy. For the full report, and a round-up of the area news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.
