EGLOSKERRY Primary School recently held a fete to raise money towards some new sporting equipment.
A variety of fun activities took place at the fete, and the children from each class made cakes to sell.
The day was enjoyed by all, with an astonishing £625 being raised to fund an exciting collection of new sporting equipment, which has recently been purchased for the children.
The chairperson of Egloskerry’s PTA, Carla Barnard, said: “Despite the disappointment in the wet weather, lots of people came along to Egloskerry fete to show their support, and we managed to raise a total amount of £625.
“Our thanks go out to everyone who came along, and to our helpers. A special thanks goes out to Bray Farm Shop and Launceston Tesco for their tremendous support.”
