HOLSWORTHY Town Council agreed to grant £100 to the Holsworthy Carers' Support Group at their meeting on Wednesday, November 5.

The grant request had been received before the deadline but had been left off the grant applications list which the council considered at their October meeting.

The Holsworthy Carers' Support Group meets once a month at Holsworthy Hospital and enables carers to relax and be entertained by speakers. The carers are also taken out once a year.

Cllr Richard Brown proposed the council grant the group £100 which was seconded by Cllr Paul Sales and supported by all the councillors.
