LIPHOOK GP Barbara Rushton urged more support for Nepal earthquake survivors as the death toll continues to rise.
Dr Rushton, who chairs NHS south Eastern Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group, has visited Nepal five times including her first trip in 2005 as a volunteer for Community Action Nepal during the Maoist troubles.
She visited health posts in the Helambu valley between October and December 2005 – including Kutumsang, Milarepa and Melamchigoan, where she located a site to build a new health post.
