LAUNCESTON Rotary President Dave Shrimpton presented a cheque for £500 last week to representatives of Launceston Golf Club Juniors Section.

He said: "Through the generosity of the people of Launceston who support our Community Shop it is possible to make this presentation this evening. We have supported the local football, cricket and rugby clubs and they all do a wonderful job with the young people of the town — we wish the junior golfers every success."
