A GOLDEN trio of former students from Sir James Smith's Commu­nity School, Camelford, have recently been royally congratulated by Prince Edward, the Duke of Wessex.

Cat Miller, Greg Langthorne and Anna Henderson travelled to St James Palace, in London, on January 15 to receive their Gold Duke of Edinburgh awards.

The running of the Duke of Edinburgh scheme restarted in Camelford four years ago and Cat, Greg and Anna are the first to complete their gold awards since the re-start. Cat has also gained Bronze and Silver, Greg his silver and Anna a bronze.
