A Pembrokeshire College student has dyed his hair all seven colours of the rainbow in aid of the Motor Neuron Disease Association.

IT student, Lloyd Evans, embarked on the challenge after talking with his friends pne evening and has so far raised £250 to help people with Motor Neuron Disease.

Lloyd said "It started out as a casual chat with my friends, I considered a purple look, then it just escalated!"

The charity is close to Lloyd's heart as his auntie has recently been diagnosed with the condition.

The transformation took over an hour, with Lloyd's hair being bleached before the different colours could be applied.

The new line of semi-permanent colours were donated by Pembrokeshire College, thanks to the handiwork of college students Kimberley Blundsden, Sophie Marsden and Jane Kenniford.

Lecturer Sharon Waterman said "Lloyd looks fashionable and fun. He's very brave!"

Well done Lloyd for standing out for a good cause!
