A FULL church was seen at St Peter ad Vincula, in Ashwater, last Sunday for the blessing of the plough service.

Many dignitaries of Devon attended, along with local farmers, with some bringing items from their farms to be blessed.

Lloyd Furse brought seed, Christina Long carried a bowl of soil and Ben Longhurst-Prior and Danny Cole brought an old-fashioned horse plough.
